Joachim Löw’s DFB era ended with the EM exit. The former national coach is open to new tasks, but Switzerland will not.
The former national coach Joachim Löw has apparently rejected an offer from the Swiss federation. That reports the view.
Accordingly, the 61-year-old was considered by the Swiss to be a candidate to succeed Vladimir Petkovic, who, after seven years in Switzerland, was hired as the new coach for the French first-class club Girondins Bordeaux. Petkovic surprisingly reached the EM quarter-finals with the national team, where they failed to Spain. In the second round, his team defeated world champions France.
However, Löw is said to have rejected the offer immediately.
