Toni Kroos has joked with brother Felix via Twitter about his memorable interview after winning the final with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Referring to the brothers’ weekly podcast, “Einfach mal Luppen”, Felix Kroos tweeted towards the Royal midfielder on Sunday. “What am I asking tomorrow on the podcast? Scared,” he wrote.
Toni Kroos’ answer was not long in coming. “Careful,” warned the now five-time Champions League winner with a wink.
Shortly after the final whistle, Kroos had against Liverpool (1-0). ZDFReporter Nils Kaben had asked the former national player whether the victory in the final surprised him because of the Reds’ overwhelming superiority at times.
The 32-year-old replied, visibly annoyed: “You had 90 minutes to think about sensible questions and then you ask me two shitty questions”. A few moments later, Kroos ended the conversation prematurely.
