In a heated game against Preußen Münster, VfL Wolfsburg saved themselves in the second round of the cup on Sunday. A faulty change could mean a subsequent end.
VfL Wolfsburg is threatened with a subsequent out of the DFB Cup due to a mistake in the 3-1 win after extra time against Preußen Münster.
The new coach Mark van Bommel changed a total of six times, which is not allowed according to the DFB statutes. Three changes in regular time were followed by three more in overtime. The exchange between Admir Mehmedi and Maximilian Philipp in the 103rd minute was illegal.
VfL Wolfsburg made six changes
According to a report by the “Kicker”, the Wolfsburg officials even asked the fourth official about this, but the latter did not stop the change. Referee Christian Dingert is said to have noted the substitution error in the game report. Apparently they initially disagreed on the set of rules.
The game was already a roller coaster of emotions: The central defender Marcel Hoffmeier had taken the surprising lead for the long-time strong fourth division Prussia (74th) after a corner. The Wolfsburg Josip Brekalo equalized for the disappointing cup winner from 2015 (90th). Striker Wout Weghorst (103rd) and Ridle Baku (120th + 1) finally met in the heated overtime to a tremendous victory for VfL.
If Münster protests, the game could still be rated in favor of the hosts. Wolfsburg has not yet issued a statement.

You can see in the video: Every time has its trading cards, the football stickers for current competitions are especially popular with children. But old scrapbooks and individual cards can be worth a small fortune.
