On Tuesday evening there will be a real football international classic. Germany meets the English national team in Munich’s Allianz Arena. You can follow the second day of the Nations League on free TV.
The second day of the Nations League has it all for the German national team. After the 1-1 draw against European champions Italy at the weekend, the DFB selection meets England on Tuesday. A win in the eternal classic would mean the first success of the current Nations League season for both teams. The “Three Lions” surprisingly lost their opening game last Saturday against outsiders Hungary.
It is the first meeting between the two teams since last year’s European Championship. At the continental tournament, the German national team lost 2-0 in the round of 16 due to the selection of England coach Gareth Southgate. It was also the last game under long-time national coach Joachim Löw. For the acting trainer Hansi Flick, on the other hand, a win could mean the first major success against a well-known opponent.
Germany-England is on free TV
The game between Germany and England will be shown free of charge on public broadcasters. ZDF will broadcast the game live from the Allianz Arena in Munich from 8:15 p.m. The game will be streamed in the ZDF media library. Kick-off is at 8:45 p.m.
As usual, Katrin Müller-Hohenstein will moderate the event. Gladbach professional Christoph Kramer is at her side as an expert. The international classic will be commented on by Béla Réthy.
