The Schlierbachers are the only team that have it in their own hands to win the cup and thus move up to the state league. The Stiftskicker play Gunskirchen away from home (Saturday, 5 p.m.).
The ASKÖ Vorchdorf team, which has been at the top of the table for a long time, needs a home win against fifth-placed UFC Attergau (Saturday, 5 p.m.) to win the title. The Vorchdorfer are tied with Schlierbach in second place in the table. Because they lost both direct duels against Schlierbach, they would be ranked behind Schlierbach if they had the same number of points. That means: Vorchdorf has to hope that Schlierbacher will drop points – and definitely score points themselves.
Should Schlierbach and Vorchdorf lose, Union Gschwandt could be the smiling third party and be crowned district league champions for the first time – provided, of course, that Gschwandtner win their away game against Vöcklamarkt Juniors (Saturday, 5 p.m.).
The future runner-up also gets a second chance to move up to the Landesliga, but he has to play against the third-bottom player in the Landesliga Ost relegation. Both Schlierbach and Vorchdorf and Gschwandt have two chances to make the leap to the next higher league.

Neither Gschwandt nor Schlierbach were among the favorites at the beginning of the season, and promotion would be an unexpected sensation for both clubs.
