Takefusa Kubo has been under contract with Real Madrid since 2019. He has not yet played a competitive game – it will stay that way for the time being.
Real Madrid’s offensive gem Takefusa Kubo is joining RCD Mallorca for the coming season. Both clubs officially announced this on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Japanese already played in the LaLiga promoted team in the 2019/2020 season. With the royal, Kubo’s contract runs until 2024.

The left-footed player last stayed with the Japanese national team at the Olympics, where he scored three goals and one assist in six games. Japan missed a medal in the game for third place against Mexico.
Kubo, who played in the youth of FC Barcelona, among others, moved from Tokyo to Los Blancos in 2019, where he is still waiting for his competitive debut. The youngster has already been awarded four times since his arrival.
First he went to Mallorca, in the following year Kubo moved to FC Villarreal for half a year before joining Getafe FC.
