Lionel Messi’s transfer to PSG is the deal of the summer. But what do Paris fans have to pay if they want a jersey from the superstar?
Lionel Messi’s jersey is hugely popular in Paris, with long queues in front of the PSG fan shop on the Champs Elysees. The piece of cloth has a proud price.
The shop at the Parc des Princes stadium was also besieged, and on the magnificent Paris mile in the west of the city, the queue of people backed up to the subway entrance. Messi’s jersey with the number 30 has been available since Wednesday, and it was sold out within a short period of time.
PSG: Lionel Messi’s jersey costs up to 165 euros
A high price has to be paid to get the coveted piece of fabric: you pay 115 euros in the shop for the fan shirt, including player flock, shirt number and the Ligue 1 or Champions League patches.
For the jersey that the professionals wear during the games, more has to be put down. Up to 165 euros are then due. In the online shop, on the other hand, there is only one variant – the men’s jersey at a price of 157.50 euros. This is currently no longer available.
Children’s sizes are also offered. The prices here range between EUR 87.99 and EUR 137.99.
