Transfers: Report: After the Bayern offer, the transfer of Mané is getting closer

After an improved offer, FC Bayern Munich’s transfer coup with Liverpool star striker Sadio Mané is reportedly closer.

As the “Bild” wrote, the third offer from the German soccer record champion for the 30-year-old attacker should be 35 million euros for a fixed fee and five million euros for possible bonus payments. According to the report, those responsible at FC Bayern have approved the new offer for the Liverpool star internally – and Mané has agreed on a three-year contract with Bayern.

Mané’s move to Munich has been speculated for weeks. The Senegalese is being talked about as a potential successor to Serge Gnabry, whose future in Munich remains uncertain. Mané could also replace goalgetter Robert Lewandowski, who is willing to change. Mané’s contract at Liverpool runs until June 30, 2023.

Mané calls Nagelsmann

According to Sky information, Bayern head coach Julian Nagelsmann recently called Mané. According to media reports, Liverpool FC recently rejected a second offer from Munich for the striker. The German champion is said to have increased his first offer from 25 to 30 million pounds (around 35 million euros) including bonus payments. This fee for Mané should contain bonuses of up to 7.5 million euros.

The Premier League club from Liverpool, coached by Jürgen Klopp, still thinks the offer is too low and is particularly bothered by the fact that the conditions for the bonus payments offered are unrealistic, it said.

Only on Monday did Bayern access the Dutch transfer market for the second time this summer. After signing right-back Noussair Mazraoui (contract until 2026), they presented midfielder Ryan Gravenberch as the next signing from Ajax Amsterdam. The 20-year-old has signed a five-year contract until 2027.
