But the task becomes much more difficult. None other than the two-time Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar contests his dress rehearsal for the Tour of France there. The star of the UAE team could be seen again next week. The local cycling association has been planning for weeks to hold the time trial championships together with Slovenia, which traditionally take place in all countries a week before the tour every year.

Rainer Kepplinger, the recent winner of the Upper Austria Tour, has often proven that he can put a lot of watts on the pedals. “For me, this is a race that I have marked in my calendar,” says the former rower.
Olympic champion Anna Kiesenhofer is among the women. Born in Upper Austria, she is also expected to take part in the state championship road race next Sunday in Styria.
