This is how the groups of the Qatar 2022 World Cup were defined

The “bottom” 32 qualifiers are Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, South Korea, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Ecuador, Spain, United States, France, Wales, Ghana, England, Iran, Japan, Morocco, Mexico , the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Senegal, Serbia, Switzerland, Tunisia and Uruguay.

For the group stage that will begin on November 21, the zones were definitively constituted as follows:

Zone A: Qatar, Senegal, Ecuador and the Netherlands.

Zone B: England, Iran, United States and Wales.

Zone C: ARGENTINA, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.

Zone D: France, Denmark, Australia and Tunisia.

The first two classified in each group will qualify for the round of 16 and the crossovers will be determined as follows: First from A with second from B and first from B with second from A; first from C with second from D and first from D with second from C.

First of E with second of F and first of F with second of E; first of G with second of H and first of H with second of G.

The contest will then go through the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final that will close the contest on December 18.
