The assembly of the Ribera club, chaired by Jorge Ameldistinguished Carlotto and her companions Angela Catalina Paolín and Buscarita Ímperi Roa, after the approval by majority of that initiative of the “xeneize” leadership in defense of Human Rights.
Carlotto had been last March 7 at the Boca headquarters, at Brandsen 805, in a talk about identity that was followed by a large number of attendees, held within the framework of the agreement that the Grandmothers signed with Mouth to spread the search for the missing grandchildren.
This is the second distinction of this type that football clubs of the AFA perform with Carlotto’s Stelewho in April 2017 received a similar tribute from Estudiantes de La Plata, which under the leadership of Juan Sebastián Verón declared her an honorary member.
22 ex-combatants from the Malvinas War were also named honorary members.
Among the honorees are Juan Carlos Albornoz, Reynaldo Arce, Osvaldo Omar Asta, Jorge Nelson Barrionuevo, Carlos Daniel Brinso, Irineo Cortes, Jorge Luis Fernández, Ramón Guillermo Guaraz, José María Menica, Horacio Mir Gonzalez, Juan Nazer, Bernardino Ramón Roa, Gustavo Edgardo Rodríguez, Carlos Alberto Roussel, Walter Fabio Santana, Omar Edgardo Sarden, Aldo Rubén Solari, Adrián Alberto Sfiligoy, Patricio Enrique Victoriano, Victor Manuel Villagra and Juan Carlos Zalazar.
Another honoree with the same status as honorary member was John Anthony Farengason of one of the founders of Boca Juniors and witness to the inauguration of the Bombonera in 1940, away from the club for distancing himself from some previous leadership.
Finally, the assembly of representatives of Mouth approved the economic-financial budget of Income, Expenditures and Investments for fiscal year No. 119 of the club and the construction of facilities in Ezeiza so that the “xeneizes” campuses concentrate on that property in the coming years.
