Transfer market: Next round in the million dollar game for Mané

According to information from England, FC Bayern should approach the demands of the Premier League club in the tough million-dollar poker game involving Liverpool star striker Sadio Mané.

According to “Sky Sports”, there was the next round of negotiations between Liverpool FC and Bayern’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, who absolutely wants to bring the 30-year-old international from Senegal to Munich. A transfer from Mané is currently a priority for the German record champions. An implementation could also bring movement to the personnel of Robert Lewandowski (33). The world footballer wants to leave FC Bayern one year before the contract expires. The goal of the Polish goalscorer is FC Barcelona. So far, however, there is still a statement from the Bayern management around CEO Oliver Kahn that the world footballer will not be allowed to go this summer.

Lewandowski’s contract in Munich, like Mané’s in Liverpool, expires on June 30, 2023. Manager Jürgen Klopp’s club believe a transfer fee of £42.5m is said to be a reasonable fee for Mané. Bayern should agree with the attacker. A three-year contract for Mané, who could also play in the center of the attack, is under discussion.

According to media reports, Liverpool had rejected the first two Bayern offers. Recently there was talk of an improved offer. According to the “Bild” newspaper, this should be a fixed fee of 35 million euros and five million euros of possible bonus payments. This amount would total the almost 40 million euros that Liverpool paid to Southampton FC for Mané in 2016.
