Hurkacz used his third match point after just 62 minutes. Crowd favorite Oscar Otte narrowly missed out on qualifying for the final on Saturday after losing to Medvedev. The 28-year-old from Cologne still travels to Wimbledon full of confidence. The tennis classic begins on June 27th.
Hurkacz dominated the final of the 2.275 million euro event in an amazing way. The Pole managed two quick breaks and took the first set after just 26 minutes. In the second round, Hurkacz immediately took the service from the world number one and couldn’t be stopped afterwards.
