At the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of SK Schärding, the club was presented as the official partner club of SK Rapid.
“With the ‘Partners in the Regions’ project, the focus is on selected football partner clubs in the federal states, which should benefit from the know-how of SK Rapid, especially in the youth field,” the Viennese explain the importance of the cooperation in a broadcast. In addition to the sporting promotion of youngsters, the residents of the Innviertel also have activities such as workshops, training sessions or invitations to talent days.
“SK Schärding is a traditional club that is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. You have highly committed and ambitious officials and good youth work with numerous youth teams. In the future, Schärding should be the number one contact point for young boys and girls in the entire region,” project manager Josef Jansky is quoted as saying.
“We look forward to this partnership with anticipation and hope for targeted progress for the entire youth work thanks to the know-how of those responsible at SK Rapid. It’s not just a great project for us, but for the entire region,” says Reinhard Wagner, chairman of the fifth division club from Schärding.
The Schärdinger youth trainers are due to come to Hütteldorf for the first time on Friday.
