Tammy Abraham is about to transfer to AS Roma. The Englishman replaces Edin Dzeko there.
English striker Tammy Abraham from Chelsea is about to move to AS Roma. According to information from Goal and SPOX the 23-year-old completes his medical check at the Roma on Sunday, after which the deal is supposed to be officially concluded.
The club around starting coach Jose Mourinho pays 40 million euros for the Englishman, but Chelsea secured a buyback option of 80 million euros. Abraham receives a five-year contract with the Giallorossi and will earn around five million euros annually.
Abraham completes Striker Rochade
Abraham is the last piece of the puzzle to be inserted after the mega move from Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea. The Belgian had returned to London from Inter Milan for up to 115 million euros. Inter responded by transferring Edin Dzeko, who was previously under contract in Rome. Now Abraham completes the carousel with his move.
Abraham played a total of 82 games for Chelsea, scoring 30 goals. Abraham had a difficult time under coach Thomas Tuchel in the past few months and was only used sporadically.
