After Klaus Preiner retired from the position of sporting director, the die has now been cast for his successor at third division club Vöcklamarkt: Omer Tarabic from Mehrnbach near Ried will take over the previously vacant position of sporting director at the “Green-Yellows” with immediate effect.
He played his active career almost continuously from 1994 at SV Pram until 2016, before moving to Union Gurten, where he has since worked as deputy sports director for the Innviertel team.
At the UVB Vöcklamarkt, he is now taking the step into the front row for the first time and will continue on the path the Hausruckviertler have taken. While the squad is 95% complete, he will now use the rest of the transfer window to fine-tune the team for the coming season, in close coordination with his predecessor and the coaching staff.
