Is Paris Saint-Germain still making a big transfer? Allegedly, the club should be on Kalidou Koulibaly from SSC Napoli.
The Paris Saint-Germain shopping spree reportedly isn’t over yet. As the Gazzetta dello Sport reported, PSG want to get central defender Kalidou Koulibaly (30) from SSC Napoli in the current transfer window.
Although PSG seem to have a luxury problem in the defense headquarters after the free transfer of Sergio Ramos, PSG want to strike again as Ramos will initially be out with a calf injury. Koulibaly’s contract expires next year, but Napoli is still demanding a transfer fee of 50 million euros.
PSG reportedly want to pay a maximum of 35 million euros
PSG, on the other hand, allegedly do not want to spend more than 35 million euros due to financial fair play and hopes that the Italians will accommodate them.
The French had strengthened themselves prominently in various positions this summer, everything outshone of course was the transfer of Lionel Messi. The transfer fees paid seem moderate at first glance, as all players except Achraf Hakimi moved to Paris free of charge.
