The calendar of Portuguese football leagues I and II for the next season, with the first match scheduled for the weekend of 6 and 7 August, will be announced on Tuesday during the draw for professional competitions.
The ceremony, which starts at 19:00 at the Alphandega do Porto Congress Center, will also present individual prizes for the last edition of the two professional championships.
Liga I 2022/23 will start on the weekend of 6 and 7 August, the same will happen with the II Liga, both competitions will end on May 28, 2023 after 34 rounds played.
The League Cup group stage will take place from November 18 to December 17, coinciding with the 2022 World Cup in Qatar from November 21 to December 18.
During the “Kick-Off 2022/23” ceremony, the best player of the I League and II League of the previous season will also be known according to the results of a vote conducted by the coaches and “captains” of 18 teams. which compete in each of the proofs.
Of the 10 contenders for the top honor, only four remained with the clubs they represented last season, such as Otavio (Porto), Taremi (Porto), Ricardo Horta (Sporting de Braga) and Fran Navarro (Gil Vincent”). .
