Manchester United: mega offer for Paul Pogba?

Manchester United: mega offer for Paul Pogba?

Paul Pogba’s future is still open. However, the Frenchman should have a mega offer from Manchester United.

Manchester United apparently wants to keep Paul Pogba in the club for the long term. A report by The Athletic According to the French, there is a very high-value contract offer.

Accordingly, United Pogba submitted this in the second half of last season. The midfielder’s contract should be extended to 2025 for significantly improved payments.

Specifically, his weekly salary should be increased from 340,000 euros to just under 470,000 euros. That would oust David De Gea as a top earner at United.

PSG probably also in the race for Pogba

The deal should still be available to Pogba, although he has apparently not yet commented on it. United fear that PSG want to guide the 28-year-old to France next summer. Pogba would currently be free of charge after the season.

Like the English newspaper Independent reports, the Parisians are to prepare an offer for Pogba with a weekly salary of 600,000 euros.

Pogba moved from Juventus Turin to the island in 2016 for the then record fee of 105 million euros, but has not yet fully met the high expectations.

However, Pogba is currently in very good shape. Despite the late entry into United training after the European Championship this summer, he was in the starting line-up on the first day of the Premier League against Leeds United. In a clear 5-1 win, he prepared four goals.
