Wearing the yellow jersey, Tadej Pogacar (Emirates) had to sprint through the steep final stretch of Stage 10 of the Tour de France on Tuesday to keep the lead.
The race between Morzine and Megève (148.1 km) was won by Magnus Court (EF Education), who overtook Nicolas Schulz (Bike Exchange). The peloton reached 8.54′ and the German Lennard Kamna (Bora) could not win the yellow card for 11 seconds. Pogacar accelerated towards the end and remained in the lead. The protest against climate change brought the race to a halt.
This Wednesday will see the 11th stage of 151.7 km between Albertville and Col du Granon, with a mountain classification of the first category and two special categories, the last at the finish line.
