Hirscher’s next collaboration with Red Bull

The Salzburger’s company and his long-term sponsor founded Van Deer-Red Bull Sport Equipment GmbH, and they also took over Augment’s ski production site in Stuhlfelden. This was announced by Hirscher’s company on Thursday.

In the future, they want to develop and produce not only alpine skis, but also sports equipment for Nordic disciplines as well as for freeriders and ski tourers for the racing and leisure sector, according to a press release.

Van Deer’s cooperation with the multi-billion dollar beverage group is also expressed in the new company logo with deer antlers and a bull. Hirscher recently signed the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen, the first international star for his project. So did ex-ÖSV sports director Toni Giger and Austrian service people.

The Augment brand, which is already in the Austria Ski Pool, with ÖSV runners Max Franz and Christoph Krenn and ski jumper Manuel Fettner will remain. However, it will be fully integrated into Van Deer.
