Independiente and Atlético Tucumán will play tomorrow at 11, without an audience and in Platense

The Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sport (Aprevide) evaluated the city of La Plata and the Lanús court as alternative venues for the meeting, but finally decided on Platense, due to the commitment to reschedule it as soon as possible since the Tucumán delegation has been in Buenos Aires since Friday.

This modality of playing on a neutral field and behind closed doors will be evaluated for the following Independiente home games, announced the head of Aprevide, Eduardo Aparicio.

“Until we have a date for the elections, I don’t think we will be able to play more games there. You have to be consistent and be preventive. If security is not guaranteed, playing in Avellaneda will not be considered” , raised.

“People are not going to calm down. If this match (with Atlético Tucumán) passes and another one is organized, what changes? We have to be honest. We are talking a lot with AFA and I notice an interest in working as a team to support this measure We are not going to put anything at risk, the minister (Sergio Berni) is firmer than ever with this idea,” he assured.
