According to US justice, “they have created an Instagram profile page and an e-commerce website in which profit from their willful misappropriation of the plaintiff’s rights (Morla)“.
The resolution, cited by the agency Argentine News (NA)requires a “further equitable relief”which is that “the defendants must deliver immediately and otherwise transfer control of Maradona’s profile page maintained on the Instagram platform, as well as the website and domain, www.dm10.com.”
The sentence was published this Monday and requests that the firm Coolulu Ltd. return the profiles to Morla’s company, which has all the rights to use the marks. “Diego Maradona”, “Diegol”, “El Diego”, “El Diez”, “The Hand of God” and “Maradona” on an international level.
