Before the British Grand Prix: Mick Schumacher speaks in the star-Interview about the perfect Formula 1 race, the smell of petrol, the friendship with Sebastian Vettel – and his father Michael.
Mr Schumacher, you have a famous name, your father Michael is a seven-time Formula 1 world champion. Does that bother you? Or does it make you proud?
It fills me with pride because he is and always will be the best Formula 1 driver in the world.
If you compare yourself to your father, do you see any similarities?
A lot of people in the racing scene say we’re alike. We are both meticulous workers, we delve deeply into subjects. Dad always wanted to develop the whole team and not just himself. That’s my approach too.
