Can Bozdogan is leaving FC Schalke for the time being and joining Besiktas on loan. The Turkish top club also has a purchase option.
Second division Schalke 04 loan midfielder Can Bozdogan to Besiktas for the remainder of the 2021/22 season. Both clubs officially announced this on Friday afternoon.
After the loan expires, the top Turkish club also has a purchase option and could sign the 20-year-old permanently. At Schalke, Bozdogan’s working paper will run until 2024.

“After the talks with Can and his management team, we came to the conviction that a change in the air would do him good. We wish him all the best for the year in Istanbul,” Schalke’s sporting director Rouven Schröder is quoted as saying in the press release.
Bozdogan switched to Schalke from 1. FC Köln’s offspring in 2019. For the first team of S04, the German junior international played a total of 18 times, but in the previous second division season he was still without a mission.
