Benfica beat Midtjylland 4-1 at home in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League thanks to a hat-trick by Gonçal Ramos.
The young Portuguese striker scored in the 17th, 33rd and 61st minutes, while the Argentinian Enzo Fernandez made his official debut for the Incarnates, scoring a goal in the 40th minute as Sisto was reduced in the 78th from a penalty spot.
On August 9, Benfica will visit Denmark for the second leg of the qualifying round, where they are aiming to confirm a play-off qualification in which they could face Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine or Sturm Graz of Austria.
