Spanish champions Atletico Madrid are dealing with a signing of Zeki Celik from Lille OSC. This was confirmed by the Turkish right-back’s advisor Global Credit.
“Yes, it’s true, Atletico are interested in Zeki Celik. There is an offer and we will look at it,” said Fazil Özdemir. Allegedly, the 24-year-old is available for around eight million euros.

He could replace Kieran Trippier in Madrid should the defensive man return to the Premier League. The Englishman should be allowed to leave the club if the offer exceeds 30 million euros.
Celik is one of the top performers in Lille and contributed three goals in 29 Ligue 1 games on the way to the championship title last season. His contract runs until 2023.
