The classic match between the national champions FC Porto and Sporting CP of the third round of the 1st league will take place on August 20, Saturday, at 20:30, the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) announced this Thursday.
The first clash between two of Portugal’s big three will take place at Porto’s Dragan Stadium, in a round that will culminate in Benfica’s host against Pacos de Ferreira at Lisbon’s Estádio da Luz. 20:15, but only on August 30.
Portimonense’s matches against Vitoria de Guimarães and Gil Vicente and Famalicao, scheduled for 21 and 22 August respectively, are subject to change as Minho and Gilistas play in the third qualifying round of the European Conference League.
The third round will start with a duel between Estoril Praia and Rio Ave on Friday at 20:15.
