One reason for freaking out was often jealousy

One reason for the conflicts was always jealousy. Schulz once dragged her naked by her hair through the apartment. “It drove me crazy that I always had to explain myself,” says the ex-girlfriend. She also describes how he kept apologizing and bursting into tears.

Shortly after the daughter’s birth in September 2020, when they were no longer a couple, he is said to have wished the daughter and mother dead, she claims. Shortly thereafter he apologized for the statement, only to insult her again a short time later.
At that moment she decided to break up with him for good. However, that was not easy for her because Schulz’s career was going downhill. That’s why she didn’t want to let him down at first. After the separation, the assaults and insults continued. She finally brought herself to file a complaint against Schulz.
Nico Schulz denies everything
In turn, he has let his lawyers know that he denies the allegations, including against his club Borussia Dortmund. BVB officially announced: “The allegations, of which Borussia Dortmund was not aware until the media reports, weigh extremely heavily and are shocking for BVB.” And: “Borussia Dortmund takes them very seriously and distances themselves from any form of violence . However, Borussia Dortmund is not a party to the proceedings and has no access to the investigation files or the criminal complaint that has apparently been filed.”
