TAP pilots, crew and maintenance technicians are joining the “silent march” today.

Three unions in the aviation sector called for a “silent march” on Tuesday to “continue to bring everyone’s attention” to the situation, which is “unfortunately currently being seen in TAP Air Portugal”.

On Friday, the leaders of the National Union of Civil Aviation Pilots (SNPVAC), the Union of Civil Aviation Pilots (SPAC) and the Union of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (SITEMA) announced a protest in which, for the first time in the history of national aviation, pilots, flight attendants and maintenance technicians ” .

“August 16 at 8:30 am, departing from Campo Pequeno and arriving at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing, we are once again waiving weekends, vacations and days off, thus ensuring that no passenger is harmed by our protest.” said in a joint statement.
