Szöcs said there will be no celebrations because the two could meet in the individual quarter-finals today. The men’s doubles Robert Gardos and Daniel Habesohn won silver for their fifth joint European Championships yesterday. In the final they lost to the reigning world champions Matthias Falck and Kristian Karlsson (Swe) 1:3. “We still won silver and didn’t lose gold. Also because we didn’t play well together for a long time,” said Habesohn.
