Miralem Pjanic leaves Barca after just a year. After his move, he criticized coach Ronald Koeman heavily.
The Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic has accused former coach Ronald Koeman of disrespect after moving from FC Barcelona to Besiktas.
“There was no communication with him,” Pjanic told Mark . “It was very strange because the coach decides who plays and who doesn’t, but in my opinion there is another way of doing it.”
“I’m not 15 years old”: Barca coach Koeman’s Pjanic irritated
The midfielder explained that Pjanic’s problem was not the bank space itself, but Koeman’s lack of justification. “I’m a player who can accept any decision, but I want certain things to be said in my face. I’m not 15 years old,” said the 31-year-old.
When asked whether the Catalans lacked respect for him, Pjanic replied: “Yes, from the coach!”
For the loan to Istanbul, Pjanic agreed to a salary reduction. Besiktas paid 2.7 million euros to Barca for one season. In the Spanish metropolis, the 101-time national player still has a contract until 2024.
