Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels is not afraid of big names in the soccer Champions League. The 33-year-old said this after the “Champions for Charity” benefit game in Frankfurt am Main.
“I hope that we get a difficult group. That’s what we’re playing in the Champions League for. From my point of view, it can be the most difficult opponent from every pot,” said Hummels after the 10:11 defeat with Dirk Nowitzki’s selection against the team by Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher. Dortmund is in pot three in the draw this Thursday (6 p.m.) in Istanbul and could, for example, catch a group with Real Madrid and Liverpool FC.
