Manchester United should now refrain from signing Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt.

As the “Telegraph” reports, the German national football team is too expensive from the point of view of the Premier League club. United do not want to pay the 25 million euros demanded by Eintracht Frankfurt. Accordingly, Manchester are now concentrating on Slovakian national goalkeeper Martin Dubravka (33) from Newcastle United. The Red Devils are said to have already started talks with the league rivals.

Trapp has a contract with the Europa League winner from Hesse until June 30, 2024. According to media reports, Manchester is said to have offered him a four-year contract, which the 32-year-old also wanted to accept.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche has no interest in selling Trapp. “Transfer rumors and speculation are part of it, especially at this stage of the season. Kevin is an exceptional goalkeeper, a leader and an important player. We’re not interested in leaving,” Krösche told the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
