The Wels team, with Emin Sulimani, a former Ried player, on the bench, are one of the title contenders in the Regionalliga Mitte and have had an excellent start to the season with five wins and one draw. In the first round of the cup, Hertha Wels eliminated the second-division team,Vorwarts Steyr.
“We need a sense of achievement now. It will be an important week for us,” says Heinle. With a promotion in the cup and a “decent performance” in the Upper Austria derby on Sunday against LASK, you can “steer a lot in the right direction again,” says Heinle.
