Yaremchuk moves from Benfica to Club Brugge

Benfica have officially announced the permanent transfer of Roman Yaremchuk to Club Brugge. Such as write down said that SAD had realized €16m so far, with another €3m dependent on achieving the goals of the player and the Belgian club.

Benfica statement:

Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD announces that it has reached an agreement with Club Brugge for the sale of all player rights of Roman Yaremchuk in the amount of €16,000,000 (sixteen million euros), plus an additional amount of €3,000,000 ( three million euros) depending on the achievement of goals related to the performance of Club Brugge and the player.

In addition, Benfica SAD will also be entitled to receive 10% of the value of the future transfer of the named player if the value of this transfer is equal to or greater than 10,000,000 euros (ten million euros).

It should be noted that prior to this agreement, Benfica SAD acquired 25% of the player’s economic rights, which were still owned by KAA Gent, for the amount of 3,000,000 euros (three million euros).

It further states that Club Brugge will have the right to retain the solidarity mechanism for later distribution to the clubs that have participated in the player’s training, while Benfica SAD will charge an intermediary fee of 5% of the sale value deducted from the solidarity amount.
