National Federation of Physicians (FNAM) President Noel Carrillo said on Tuesday that Marta Temido’s resignation was “not surprising” but stressed it was time to move forward and find solutions to the sector’s problems.
“I’d say it’s not surprising [a demissão]. The National Health Service (SNS) had degraded to such an extent that it was already overtly incapable of performing its tasks. However, we are not only setting up various actions of the Minister, but we also want to understand whether this gesture will be reflected in changing policies with dexterity and speed to solve problems,” stressed Noel Carrillo Luce.
The FNAM President reminded that any time lost now will always be an irretrievable loss for patients.
