Sp. Yesterday Braga won the Minho derby against V. Guimarães with Tormen’s goal in the last game. Three minutes passed on top of Nuno Almeida’s five minutes of compensation when the defender beat Bruno Varela.
In the always emotional game, the 1st half was marked by the expected superiority of Sp. Braga had the ball, but Vitoria always defended well and created two great opportunities from that period. First Anderson in the 11th minute with a side kick from a great position, and then in the 33rd minute when Nelson da Luz, isolated, could not beat Matheus.
In the 2nd half, on 58′, Sp. Braga had a great opportunity to take the lead, but Ricardo Horta missed the penalty and missed the target. The Arsenalists persisted by winning numerous fouls in the attacking zone, but they only scored from a free kick saved by Tormena at a time when Vitoria already had the idea of winning a point at the opposition’s home after being very defensively literate at throughout the game.
