LINZ. 2015 had Tea Krznaric started with the boys’ team of Askö Dionysen Traun, this summer she returned to LASK in Upper Austria as a Croatian national player. “I feel very comfortable at LASK,” beams the 18-year-old noble technician. During her apprenticeship, the exceptional talent reaped numerous sporting laurels: In 2020 she was allowed to train with the Austrian series champion St. Pölten for the first time at the age of 16 with the A team, and was also involved in the double with bets. “My highlights were the Champions League games against Besiktas (note: 7-0) or Juventus (1-4).”
Nevertheless, she moved to ZNK Split in her Croatian homeland in spring 2022. “Because I just wanted to try something new.” With Split, Krznaric won both championship titles and cups – and was even called up for the Croatian national team. Now she wants to win the LASK title: After the 12-0 win over Antiesenhofen/Ried at the weekend, her team is leading the table in the women’s Upper Austria league with four wins in four games. (me)
