The Premier League continues after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. However, three games were postponed.
The Premier League has confirmed that play will resume this weekend. However, three of the ten planned games have to be postponed again due to the events surrounding the Queen’s funeral.
Football across England and the UK was paused last weekend following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Severely constrained police resources have meant the Premier League fixture schedule has faltered. Football authorities are now faced with the prospect of postponing more games that can hardly be accommodated in an already busy schedule.

Seven of the ten Premier League games will be played this weekend , three games have been postponed due to events surrounding the Queen’s funeral.”
