The competition took place at the Club Atlético Talleres (CAT) in the provincial capital, within the framework of the Amigos School of that institution, where representatives from different parts of the provinces of Entre Ríos, Buenos Aires, and Tucumán arrived.
The Meeting “became a national reference and bears the stamp of Paraná for the great work”, with “friendship, sports and fun”, said the secretary of Sports, José Gómez, who highlighted the clubs that “have as a priority the inclusion and seek to improve the quality of life” of people with disabilities.
The players who participated “enjoyed the sports and recreational activities” in a “meeting” space for children, youth and adults from different places, highlighted Cristian Gómez, coordinator of the Amigos Basketball School. He also highlighted that his School has almost 40 players who train twice a week to “learn basketball and enhance their physical development in a space for recreation and cooperation.”
“Without the support of the Government of Entre Ríos, this meeting could not take place or perhaps it would have cost us much more, and for the province, working on sports and disability is a public policy,” added provincial deputy Carina Ramos.
