Romelu Lukaku moved back to Chelsea in the summer. He is said to have recommended a duo from former club Inter to his coach.
As Mediaset reported, Lukaku is said to have recommended the duo after a planned transfer of Seville’s central defender Jules Kounde did not materialize in the previous transfer window.
Chelsea wanted Kounde – claims too high, however
Tuchel recently officially confirmed an interest in Kounde: “It is clear that we tried to get Kounde and Saul. However, it was very, very late by then.” Ultimately, a change failed due to Seville’s transfer demands.
