“Asterix & Obelix – The Middle Kingdom” is scheduled to hit the cinemas in February, and the teaser for the eagerly awaited strip has now been released. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will also be there: the AC Milan soccer star swapped his cleated shoes for a TV camera and will be seen as an actor in the forthcoming Asterix film.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic plays the Roman officer “Antivirus”, who leads a Roman army and fights against the Gauls, alongside French cinema stars Giullaume Canet, who also directs, Vincent Cassel and Marion Cotillard.
Director Canet (49) revealed “Le Parisien” about Ibra’s qualities: “We were looking for someone with composure and arrogance. And he also did taekwondo. He is Caesar’s favorite centurion. It was originally called Abribus, but we renamed it Antivirus because we’re waiting for it and like the vaccine, it’s slow to come.”
