The coach of the Panthers beats the historic duel against the Netherlands

Last Friday, The Panthers defeated Colombia 3 to 2 in the penultimate match of Group D of the World Volleyball Championship in the Netherlands and Poland and obtained the last pass to the second round, being the first time that Argentina has accessed this phase since it had never been able to achieve two wins in the contest.

“The team is happy to have achieved the first objective and now, we are looking for more because each one is going to play a little looser and that is going to make the performance better”Ferraro expressed about what is coming for The Panthers at the tournament.

Ferraro also pointed out that “being organized tactically and being precise will be key” for the next round because “you need to beat a team that is among the top 10 in the world to have another boost in spirit.”

On the other hand, the coach assured that the Netherlands, being local, will have the public in their favor but that in turn “they are used to the hostile climate and having people against them.”

“Hopefully the girls can maintain the things they do well for longer, although they have already shown that they can, but now they have to maintain it throughout a match of this caliber”closed Ferraro.

The Panthers will play this Tuesday at 15:15, Argentine time, their first match of the second round against one of the local teams, the Netherlands, in Rotterdam.
