In the first game of the second stage of the World Cup, Hernán Ferraro’s team could not defeat the Netherlands 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-12 and 25-13).

On Friday the 7th, starting at 12:15 p.m., the Panthers will play against Italy and on Sunday the 9th -at 1:30 p.m.- they will complete the round against Puerto Rico.

In their best performance in a Women’s World Cup, the Argentines have already made history by passing the first round of an ecumenical tournament -in six participations- thanks to their victories over the Czech Republic (3-1) and Colombia (3-2) in the phase initial in the city of Arnhem. In that first round they also fell to China, Brazil and Japan in straight sets.
