“In this moment of anguish, anger and desolation, members and triperos fans convene ourselves to reflect after the very serious acts of police violence that occurred yesterday in our stadium”indicates the statement that circulated among the people of La Plata.
He adds that they organized “to demand justice for the death of tripero ‘Lalo’ Regueiro and demand a prompt and transparent judicial investigation to find out who and/or who are responsible for the tragedy we experienced yesterday in the Forest.”
In the place, the demonstrators indicated that what happened was “a horrible experience” and pointed against the members of the Police of the Province of Buenos Aires, who, according to what they said, “pushed and repressed” them.

In a consultation conference, some of those present at the scene pointed out that when they saw smoke and heard the first detonations they thought “that there was a fire, that it was a smoke bomb”, but then they noticed the situation because “they could not breathe”.
“We want the head of those responsible; responsibility is not delegated, the minister [de Seguridad, Sergio Berni] you have to take a step to the side”indicated another of the demonstrators and added that “if you cannot handle the Police, it is better that you leave.”
Several of the fans assured that before the detonations and bullfights began there was still room inside the stadium.
The demonstrators later marched to the burial house located at Avenida 1 and 530 where the remains of Regueiro, 57, were to be veiled.
