Romania has had a problem with street dogs for a long time. In order to finally get the animals passed on, the Romanian Football Association came up with a special idea.
When footballers walk into the stadium before the game, there is usually a familiar image: They almost always have small children on their hands who can come into contact with their idols and fulfill a childhood dream.
There is now a new picture in Romania: Because the country has been struggling with street dogs for years and cannot get them passed on quickly enough, the Romanian football league has come up with a very special campaign. Throughout the season, footballers will run into games with dogs from the shelter or from the street.
Romanian Football League has players with dogs from the shelter and from the streets run up
In one of the first games, the Dynamo Bucharest footballers showed up with their animal companions in their arms before kick-off. Under the motto “Fill the void in your life” they had brought animals with them from the animal shelter and from the street, which will soon be conveyed. If a fan can be enthusiastic about one of the animals (and to be honest: who can’t with this sight?), The contact is very easy: every dog has a scarf with his name around his neck. Anyone interested in the animal can easily get in touch with the organizers.

The football league has also thought about a possible problem caused by the usually noisy environment in the stadium: so that the dogs do not panic and can be at the games without stress, fireworks and the pyrotechnics popular with many fans have been banned in the stadium. At the weekend, the fans also adhered to these requirements.
