“Monaco takes place on three days without interruption,” said the F1 CEO in an interview. “So Friday, Saturday and Sunday instead of Thursday, a gap, then Saturday and Sunday. Yes, we will introduce this change next year.”
The Automobile Club de Monaco will hold events for frame series on Thursday, but F1 will only run from Friday. So the tradition that has existed since 1929 is over.

Domenicali also commented on the racing calendar for the coming year. “We are planning on 23 races,” said the Italian. Never before have there been so many grands prix in one season. The racing program is to be presented on October 15th. “We want to end the season earlier than this year,” said the Formula 1 boss. The season is rumored to start on March 20th in Bahrain and end on November 20th in Abu Dhabi.
