At 73, Dusty Baker became the oldest coach to win a championship in one of North America’s four major sports leagues. “What’s next? I said if I win one, I want to win a second,” Baker said after his first title in 25 years as a Major League Baseball head coach.

Astros pro Jeremy Pena, on the other hand, not only won the title in his first season, but was also voted the third rookie most valuable player in a World Series.

It’s the second title for the Astros after 2017, when the team was found to have cheated, and has been viewed with great scrutiny by many baseball fans ever since. But even after the scandal and some personal consequences and penalties, the Astros remained successful in sport and have reached at least the finals of the American League every year since then. After two lost World Series recently, the second triumph was achieved.
