When Germany was kicked out of the tournament against England, a little girl cried bitterly at Wembley Stadium. Because it was insulted for it, a British wanted to give her some financial consolation. That worked out better than expected.

A Brit raised more than £ 33,500 for a little German girl who cried bitterly in the stadium when Germany lost to England in the European Championship. Joel Huges from Wales started a fundraising campaign after the girl was cheered by English fans while she was crying and then aggressively insulted on the Internet.

Hughes wanted to show the girl that not all people in Great Britain are “terrible”. After the game, the crying girl was shown on TV and on stadium screens. It was shared on social media with sometimes very insulting and aggressive comments with references to the Second World War. Many Britons had condemned it sharply, including former English footballers Gary Lineker and Stan Collymore.

Fundraiser should bring £ 500 to girls
